Shocking discovery.
This morning, I sat down to sip my cafe au lait and nibble on some cinnamon rolls. Like practically every other weekend. But today was different. I was in for a shocking discovery.
While doing a Google image search for "blender," I came across a company whose logo is shockingly familiar to the one at my old site.
Note, specifically, the area at the base of the blender and the trademark asterisk floating about. Very curious.
Of course, there are some differences. Instead of the festive color scheme that my designer picked out, they went for a charming and understated puke green. But you have to admit that there are certain similarities.
Needless to say, I sicked my team of lawyers on them immediately. Dewey Cheetam and Howe are already on the case!
I could hardly finish the two remaining sweet rolls -- my stomach was just so upset by all the nastiness. I just can't take it! You'd think that I would be considerably more mellow after a workweek of just two days. (The snow days ate up M-W last week. Not that I'm compaining, mind you.)
In other news, I suspect I may have to carve my car out of the 8 inch snowbank Sunday afternoon. It's about time to free Volveena from her prison of ice! Bless her little blue-green heart. I suspect she's rather depressed these days... or am I just projecticating?
