(JP Wire) July 23 -- West Virginia has a new posse. It’s the Lynch brigade. Quick, somebody tie a yellow ribbon around her tight little white @$$! The snarky, blue-eyed rapper Jessica Lynch has released her latest single, "Never let me give up" featuring Ashante from her debut album, Shoot this. Between physical rehab sessions and a busy press schedule, Lynch scored some long overdue studio work with her West Coast friend, Ashante. The song was produced by her producer/publicist, Jim JaRule.
"Never let me give up" is the follow-up to Jessica Lynch's first two smash duets with 50 Cent, "Gonna bomb ya wit AirForce1" and "WMD, yeah, you know me."
The song is still performing well and presently Number Six on the urban Radio & Records National Airplay charts.
The rapper's first, Shoot this, is currently approaching platinum status worldwide. Except that is, in the middle east. In Iraq, for example, sales have barely reached 8,000 copies.
"Once those towel-heads hear the booty-shakin' rhythms of Jessica Lynch and Ashante, they won't be able to resist their charms," joked producer JaRule. "Especially since it will be blaring over Voice of America speakers around the country!"The single is presently Number 38 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and has sold more than 800,000 copies since its release according to Nielsen Soundscan.
Jessica Lynch is out on tour in support of the album and slated to perform at Level in Miami Beach, Florida on Wednesday, July 30.
