Two little cicadas are perched on some long blades of grass. One is looking at the date due card in her library book. The date due card reads, "May 14, 1987."
"Uh-oh! This book is kinda late!" the cidada says to the other one. "Dude, you are so busted," the other one admonishes. Above them the headline blares its Big Brother Propaganda message: "DON'T BUG YOUR LIBRARIAN: BRING BOOKS BACK ON TIME!"
That's the cicada themed poster hanging in the hallway right now. It's beginning to be cicada season and the DC area is primed for the usual insect hijinx.
I wonder how many are going to fly into my face, crawl onto my car and ruin the back patio foliage! Guess I'll soon see....
