Friday, Dec. 19, 2003 - 3:46 pm Um... I'm sorry. This relationship just isn't working for me. I'm at www.dailypreciousness.org now. So change that bookmark. Found art. It's something I love to examine. Whence does it come? Who dropped it at my feet? Why is it here? Why does my space-time line intersect with this unclaimed object? I look at stray objects that I've found along my path in a way that is perhaps different from other people. I see it as a tiny treasure. It's a random raw ingredient for my own special story, just waiting to take shape in my head. I will use the found object as a springboard to a talespin. So when I found a lonesome, forgotten post-it note on the ground today, I smiled a knowingly. "Oh, my precious! I know how I'll use you," I thought to myself. "It's going to be the first clue to a puzzle that I will help create. The sheer amount of intellectual property left behind in the library in any given week is enough fodder to light up a giant bonfire's worth of creative energy. So I shall harness it! This is cheap, easy fuel for my right brain. And I'm gonna ride this Idea Cadillac into town. You'll soon be seeing the contents of this post-it note in an upcoming entry. I will use this tiny treasure as part of an upcoming random harvest.
